We return to Northern Premier League action on Saturday afternoon as we travel to Lancashire to face Lancaster at the Giant Axe.
A positive result would be a huge boost for the Robins in what has been a difficult week off the pitch, following the departure of Tris Whitman.
Colin Daniel and Ashley Hunter will take charge of first-team affairs whilst the club appoint a permanent successor, and the duo are both looking forward to the challenge.
They said: "It’s been great taking the lead and the lads have really responded well. Thursday was a really positive day, with high spirits and a great energy around training. Everyone’s looking sharp and there’s a real excitement going into tomorrow’s game. We’re looking forward to seeing what happens and hopefully putting in a performance we can all be proud of."
We fell to defeat last time out at home against Warrington Rylands, with a second half effort proving enough to secure all three points for the visitors.
Our opponents have had a mixed start to the season, sitting in 12th place after 10 games played. They were however victorious last time out, as they edged past Whitby by two goals to one.
We were victorious against the Dolly Blues in our most recent fixture last season, as we ran out convincing 3-0 winners at the Microlise New Manor Ground.
We hope to see as many of you make the trip up north as possible, as we look to get back to winning ways.
