Coming to the Manor

Padel is coming to Ilkeston Town.

Planning permission has been secured for six covered padel courts at the Microlise New Manor Ground, adding another year-round sporting use to the site and creating a new source of activity and income beyond football matchdays.

By car

Driving directions to the Microlise New Manor Ground via M1 J26, A610 and A6096, turning right onto Newton's Lane before continuing onto Awsworth Road.

  1. 1Leave the M1 at junction 26 and take the A610 signposted for Ripley.
  2. 2Leave at the first exit onto the A6096 signposted for Awsworth / Ilkeston.
  3. 3At the next island take the A6096 signposted for Ilkeston.
  4. 4Continue for about half a mile, then turn right onto Newton's Lane.
  5. 5Newton's Lane shortly becomes Awsworth Road; continue towards Cotmanhay and the ground is on the left.
